Help with Entering Members Area

The CA-TF 8 Members area is solely for California Task Force 8 (CA-TF 8) Active Members. If you are not a member of CA-TF 8, you will not be able to enter the membership area. Family members use a different login to access the Family Members Page.

If you are having problems logging into the CA-TF 8 Members Page, please try the following troubleshooting tips as follows:

1. Verify you are using the correct Username. The correct username sequence is as follows:

First Letter of First Name + First Letter of Last Name Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number updated:3/27/07

ie. Jimmy Rescue has 1234 as his last four digits of his social security number. His logon will be: JR1234

 

2. Verify you are using the correct Password.

The default password and Username have been sent to the email address you have on file with the CA-TF 8 Main Office. If you need to change your email address, you must contact Louise Harkness, Special Operations, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. When you login for the first time, you will be required to change your password you can remember.

 

3. I've lost my password.

If you've lost your password, you can have your password sent to the email address on file with the CA-TF8 US&R Office.

4. Make sure "COOKIES" are enabled on your computer.

You must have cookies enabled. If you don't then you will have to LOGIN to every single page you view while visiting CATF8.COM.

5. Make sure you are REGISTERED.

In order to be a registered member, you must be a CA-TF 8 member. Upon registering, your application will be reviewed and then accepted by a live person.

6. I have enabled the "keep me signed in on this computer unless I log off" button. Why does it not show that I am logged in?

More than likely, you are still logged in. The public page will not show you as logged into the members site. Just click on the members menu and you should directed to the members side without having to log back in.
